I want to congratulate the White Bird team for their work in bringing great dancing talent to Portland. This past week we had the privilege of witnessing Brazil’s Grupo Corpo perform. We had never seen them before and it was refreshing to see the combination of beautiful choreography and intense music.
White Bird’s 18th season also includes performances by other companies with Hispanic roots such Soledad Barrio and her Noche Flamenca company that performed in December. And coming up in April and May are TIMBER! (Canada) and Malpaso Dance Company (Cuba).

The passion from the founders Walter Jaffe and Paul King is on display in the dedication their team demonstrates and the quality of the dancing companies they bring. Lara Media is humbled and proud to be part of their efforts to attract more diverse audiences.
