Powerful stories that can create a genuine connection with people are the most impactful and the most successful.  Recently, our CEO Victoria Lara had the opportunity to be interviewed by CNN en Español, a prestigious Latino network that airs all over the US and Latin America.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia CNN en Espanol’s reporter Gustavo Valdez, traveled to the Pacific Northwest in search of Latinos who are creating positive changes in their community.. In search of stories, Valdez was fortunate to have stumbled upon Victoria Lara’s inspiring story, thanks to Oregon Latino Health Coalition director Alberto Moreno, who spoke to him about her accomplishments.

The interview was held at a plaza by the main Mexican street in Woodburn, Oregon. Victoria was very humbled and pleased with such an experience – to be able to share her story was very valuable. Victoria elabrates “Success to me is when people say, if Victoria did it, then I can do it too!”
