Edgar was born and raised in Mexico City. He attended The Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) (National Autonomous University of Mexico) which is the largest university in Latin America. There he got his B.S. in sales and undergraduate in architecture.
Edgar has been with Lara Media Services since it was founded. A linguistic expert and copy editor for over a decade, Edgar oversees all translation of materials to ensure that the tranlation is culturally appropriate. He also lends his vocal talents to local TV and radio commercials. In 2012 Edgar participated as a guest commentator in some of the soccer games at Cadena SER called Carrusel Deportivo. Cadena SER is the leader in radio sports coverage in Spain. Today he is bringing his experience to the Portland Timbers as a Spanish commentator for the 2013 season.
Edgar loves soccer, and going to restaurants, movies, concerts and Broadway shows. He also likes to travel and get to know new places.
