The Taste of Mexico (Sabor a Mexico) is coming again to Portland.
The Mexican Restaurateurs Association (MERA) is teaming up with the Mexican Consulate in Portland along with the Portland Art Museum and Lara Media Services to provide support for the IME BECAS program.
IME BECAS is a nationwide program funded by the Mexican Government. IMEBECAS is committed to elevating the educational level of first- and second-generation Latinos by supporting programs that provide opportunities for those from Mexican immigrant families to access higher education in the United States.
Attendees of the Taste of Mexico receive samples of the best Mexican food that Portland has to offer and will enjoy lively entertainment from local Latino musical acts.
The event starts at 5:30pm on August 24th in the Sculpture Garden at the Portland Art Museum. Tickets are $40 and are purchased at the door.
This event is only for adults aged 21 and over.
