Congratulations to HMCC Scholarship Recipents

Last month,  the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce held a Scholarship Awards Luncheon to award $119,500 in scholarships to 48 students throughout Oregon and SW Washington. Lara Media Services was honored to be one of the organizations awarding scholarships to deserving Latino youth. This year the scholarship committee selected Abner Garcia and Omar Rivera to be the recipients of Lara Media’s scholarship award.

Lara Media’s Antonio Lara and Patti Verduzco were on hand to interview our award winners and ask them about how receiving the scholarship has impacted their career goals and academic aspirations.
