Each October, leaders in both the Latino and medical community band together to help the local Latino population improve their personal health, as well as the health of the community.

As the daughter of an immigrant, I’ve always felt like I won the lottery by being an American Citizen. More than anything, I cherish my constitutional right to vote.
I hope to share my personal story about being a voice for Latinos through my vote, in part because it’s National Voter Registration Day, but also to hopefully inspire other second and third generation Americans to consider how important it is that their voice is heard.
