Lara Media Services in partnership with the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (HMCC) presented “Communication is nothing without Action”, a seminary with simple strategies, easy actions and a lot of funny stories about communicating, inspiring, and connecting with Latinos. With over 40 years of being advocates in the Latino community and more than 16 years conducting business we were able to offer insights into a demographic group that is often misunderstood.

CEO Victoria Lara shared information about the connection economy and how to make Latinos care about your brand. Antonio Lara, the company’s CMO, linked advertising to a love song and stressed the importance of creating emotional connections with your customers.

Our Brand Manager, Hugo Anguiano, offered insights on the heavy usage of social media and the differences in the Latino community. Finally, our Executive Office Manager, Sandra Rivera, concluded with the significance of being credible and authentic. We were also able to present first-hand primary data about the Latino community in the Portland area. The presentation was a success!
