Since last July, Lara Media has worked for the state of Oregon to conduct research, create COVID-19 communication assets for the Spanish-speaking community, and to place media advertising on their behalf across the state. All of these have also been produced in the Latin-American indigenous languages spoken most frequently in the state.

The Latin-American indigenous languages that we translate the videos are: K’iche, Mam, Mixteco-Alto, Mixteco-Bajo, Purépecha and Q’uanjob’al.

Another part of the campaign has been directed to Latino families seeking to raise awareness about COVID-19 and the danger that it represents.
